“We’ll Do the Rest”

We’ll Do the Rest concerns the intersecting dream narratives of a female drone pilot, the unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur, and a story of high school gang violence in Louisiana. Nightmare visions are described as two individuals recall and re-inhabit fragmentary and traumatic memories from their pasts. Recollections of watching a landscape from above bleed into a street corner hold-up in downtown Baton Rouge. Interviews, staged performances and found footage are collaged together to create an anxiety-laden visual landscape where fact and fiction blur together and nothing is what it appears to be.
