Christine Santora is a filmmaker, director, and lifelong New Yorker. She spent 20 years in advertising
at agencies including Mother, Anomaly, and Wieden+Kennedy. Her work has been recognized by
Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, Webbys, AICP, and the Emmy Awards. She was also named one of
Business Insider’s Most Creative Women in Advertising in 2014.

In 2020, she wrote and directed her first short film, Ladies Room, a comedy about how easy it is to
pass the Bechdel Test, which screened at multiple festivals and was chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick.
Her 2023 follow-up, Visionary, is a dark comedy that satirizes classic stories of abuse in Hollywood,
with gender roles reversed to heighten the behavior.

After directing a string of successful campaigns for her clients in the ad world, Christine left agency
life to focus on film full time. She’s currently directing brand campaigns and developing original
scripts, usually from a coffee shop in Bushwick.
